CurseForge vs the Mojang launcher however. While yes they both start the same game (CF uses an official copy from microsoft, real account required). The difference is:

The .minecraft folder generally ownly supports 1 modded version at a time, and risks mixing mods of different versions.

While CuresForge allows you to either download pre-made modpacks OR create custom profiles for different mc versions and modloader combos, these profiles are all kept in their own folders seperated from eachother. ie no chance of pack A 1.12.2 mixing with pack B 1.21.11

Its a pirated launcher that is known to download other programs/files when you install TL, things like key loggers or worms. Things that will steal from you and other pcs in your network.

Basically you get a "free" version of a paid game, but you give away your pc and any other accounts you have for other games: steam, xbox, etc to the malicious actors.

You will also take 100% of the blame if they use you pc to hack into others on the netowrk and steal things, like banking from your parents or siblings. Cuz you willinging downloaded and allowed TLauncher to run on your pc.

Within the documented pattern that I've read, it's first starting by reading your cookies during the installation so they can access any of your accounts in any of your browsers.

Then Tlauncher will create a file designed to wait, once you let enough time go and no longer suspect anything bad coming out of Tlauncher the application will start infecting other computers and installing malwares everywhere - even if your antivirus detect anything - which is unlikely as these malwares are up to date to bypass every antivirus - it's just going to be a random file that you can't source out to Tlauncher, and since there was nothing wrong with Tlauncher in the while you used it you won't suspect it

Yes, We have a copy of the Microsoft launcher that we get directly from Mojang/Microsoft. CF also uses Microsoft authentication servers to log in.

CF is one of a few officially supported mod managers.

depends on what you want to do. Create can sometimes get a bit laggy, same with mek cables.

There are mechanics that immersive engineering and create can work together with. But overall no, you need to either use a vanilla mechanic such as item dropping or hoppers to work between the two without much fuss.
There are integration mods between the two, but usually those are made on demand for specific purposes and versions

Really comes down to the type of gameplay you want. We cant really do that for you as everyone has their own likes and dislikes when it comes to mods

Sounds like a you issue, Ive not had fps issues with it, nor ping related issues when using svc. And the servers I run arent local to where I am.

Didn't feel the need to, it's not exactly a "huge bug"... and even if it was, I certainly wouldn't have any clues as to what specifically is causing it.

Devs dont expect users to know the ins and outs of all issues, I sure as heck dont for the packs I make. Most just ask that users try to give as much info as possible, ex: what versions were used, other mods installed, ways to reproduce the issue. Etc.

Anything they can use to even attempt to look into whats going on.

Though, this is simply my experience with Simple VoiceChat-- it might just be due to any pack that does run it tends to also have a myriad of other issues not addressed.

Run a spark report for tps, screenshots for fps with and without the mod. logs, pc specs, wifi or ethernet, if its a public server, its link. What pack your playing. this list goes on

Im a sucker for AE2, but Ive found xycraft a nice pair for resource generation. Made the tuff farm a lot easier XD

really most of the tech mods work, since you can use the chain conveyor things to route between machines till you have ae2 auto crafting set up.

Oritech, enderio, industrial foregoing are nice as well. Tree farming easier. and other little processes.

Thermal is nice if you still have it for shortcuts to crafts. Also farming and such.

Kinda that, you can make a huge contraption for something OR bunch of machines together
