1. install your desired minecraft version (1.20.1., for example, just install the normal version. plain and simple, right?)
2. run it like normal. yes, the normal version, 1.20.1. for example. it will run, the main menu screen will appear.
3. perfect, now close it
4. a new file in the versions folder will appear with the name of the version you chose
5. go to the website of your preferred mod loader
6. download the installer from it for the version you chose (if it's 1.20.1. and you want forge, pick the forge installer for 1.20.1.)
7. run the exe, it is going to install the modloader
8. open the game again, this time through the new profile that will appear with the forge (for example) modloader installed
9. running the game in this profile should change your minecraft folder a bit. to check this out you'll go to %appdata% through windows key+R (will take you to the Roaming folder)
10. there'll be a "mods" folder there. this is where you can paste your mods. be sure to choose the right version and loader

Why Piracy is bad

Minecraft Ram Usage Info

Minecraft handles ram differently then other games. Too little can have issues, but same goes for too much. As Minecraft will literally try to use all the ram you give it and try to shove it all through 1 cpu core.

Instead of speeding up the game, it slows down the cpus processing by trying to process all the ram, used or unused.
To see the recommended range use !mc-ram

Installing Bedrock Addons on PC

This is for the Computer version of Bedrock Edition Only

For the following steps, make sure the game is on the main menu screen first

Addons come in 2 options: Behavior Packs (BP) and Resource Packs (RP)
To install these all you need to do is:
1: download the wanted addon
2: Open your downloads folder
3: Double click on the addon
This will start the "import"

Once installed you need to enable the addons. They do not auto enable
1: Press play in the Main Menu > Create World > Create New World
2: Scroll down to the Experiments tab
3: Enable the all the Add-On Creator settings: Holiday Creator Features, Custom Biomes, Upcoming Creator Features, Beta APIs
4: You can then enable the RP or BP packs in their respective tabs in the world creation screen

Note: You can add RPs and BPs to old worlds, however this can cause issues depending on the pack, be sure to backup your worlds first
