Cf has been around a lot longer, but it really comes down to what mods you are interested and where the devs are uploading said mods.

If you are making a private pack and dont plan to upload it to the cf site. You can have mods from either cf/modrinth in the cf app pack.

Most devs seem to post on both sites.

Why Piracy is bad

Aside from the fact that you're stealing content from creators, downloading pirated content breaks games' TOS. Piracy tends to add hidden costs without your knowledge!

How to get started with shaders

Playing with a shaders mod like Oculus, Iris, or others and want more flair to your world? Don’t know what shader to pick from or where to look? try looking on Shaderlabs or the customization tab on the CurseForge site.

To get started using shaders:

1. Download the shader mod and its requirements for the mod loader you’re using and run the game at least once to generate the shaderpacks folder
2. Download the shader you want from either the CurseForge site or Shaderlabs (linked above)
3. In the CurseForge app, right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile
4. Click Open Folder

1: download the wanted addon
2: Open your downloads folder

2: Scroll down to the Experiments tab

4: You can then enable the RP or BP packs in their respective tabs in the world creation screen
