Well, that's a first for the bots.

Remember chat, if some random person is asking for financial data, information of yours or is asking you to click links? Here's a few tips to figuring out if they're a bot:

• Default icon and/or instagram pic of a person.
  • They're either too lazy to set one or pulled one straight from Google. They are not kind or cute, they're not even real.
• Overly generous without any prior notice.
  • If they were that kind of a soul with that much money to spare? They'd donate to a charity... or build one.
• Apologizing over some accidental report or similar.
  • This is a common opener to try and make you take pity. Don't.
• Seems vaguely out of tune with normal social conventions. Ask them questions that a human could answer no problem, but a simple bot would respond normally to.
  • This is because script-bots can't account for every interaction.

God, why am I just incapable of figuring out what I want this Fire-related Origin to do.

I guess I just associate anything in Minecraft using Fire Damage as "irrelevant" because all it takes to make it useless is a single potion effect.

I can clarify what entities and how Origins targets, but I can't make brand new projectiles for it to throw.

While it makes travelling the Nether a lot easier, a whole (rather optional) dimension being filled with flames just makes it existence even more baffling. That's like making something that completely nullifies explosions because one ultra-rare biome is prone to meteor strikes.

Screw it, I'm leaving this for later. Pushing it leaves diminishing returns.

( Someone ping me ideas if you get 'em. The more involved the mechanics, the better since I like interactive gameplay and have no qualms attempting to make it if it's kickass enough.)

Why Piracy is bad

Aside from the fact that you're stealing content from creators, downloading pirated content breaks games' TOS. Piracy tends to add hidden costs without your knowledge!

When a game is pirated and given a way for "free", malicious actors will tend to sneak their own code and malware into the files that you download. This malware can involve anything from changing your computer hosts file to cause your computer to authenticate with their hacked servers instead of the official games servers, to key loggers that install separately and run, even when the pirated content is disabled or even uninstalled from your pc.

Hackers work hard to make sure their code doesn't trigger any of your antivirus software. This is a game for them: Who can infect the most devices without getting caught?

TLDR; Hackers offer a "Free" version of paid software so that they can use your device as a free access point to do whatever they want, without your consent. They will continue to get away with it, too, as long as users continue download their corrupted content.
