I am also not sure if it would be worth for other games, as in I do not have the knowledge necessary to say if it would be too risky and the competition might be a flop or if there is a good amount of creators focused and regularly checking for events like that

A lot of them use generative-AI descriptions and images. So many are just thoughtless Kitchen-Sink packs. A bunch of them lack servers of their own as well-- and even if they did have one? They're likely defunct now.

It's also probably why the most popular modpacks you'll see are just the biggest conglomerates with a bit of history.
Credit where it's due, the most popular at least do more than just stick a few mods together, barely edit the configs and call it a day.

In Minecraft Launcher you can go to the installations page and hover over your installation and click the folder icon. Your world is in the saves folder.

In the CurseForge App you can right click on a profile and click on "open folder".

You can then copy across your world to your CF App profile's saves folder
