We have seen hundreds, if not thousands|| (this is probably exaggerated, hundreds is not impossible but there definitely was several dozens)||, of people with this issue. Every single one of them, without a single exception that I am aware of, was log inside the wrong account.

A lot of these people was absolutely convinced they was login in the same/correct account, few of them even copied and pasted the login info in both the Minecraft website and the launcher ten times in a row - before coming back to us saying they was using the wrong info

People who literally, no joke, copied pasted the login and tried with both the vanilla launcher, the website, and the launcher inside CurseForge.

We asked them to contact Microsoft, these same users came back telling us that they managed to use the wrong thing despite everything - as absurd as this is. We really did see enough cases to see this kind of absurdity

But if you really think you are doing it right, then you can reinstall the launcher using the repair installation

If the issue still happens afterward, then you need to contact the support of Mojang/Microsoft. The launcher included in CurseForge is a copy of the official launcher, with the same auth system. If you are login incorrectly, then the auth system of Microsoft/Mojang is doing something wrong

And trust me I will like to consider this could be a CurseForge problem. However within my understanding and despite all odds, there is a better chance that either you or Microsoft is doing something wrong because this is their launcher
