You can't use Minecraft mods & Java ressource/texture packs on Bedrock. Modding is only for Java and computer.

That would be a modloader. Spefifically quite literally Forge without LexManos anymore. This might seem very spefific and arbtairy but it isn't. I would go into detail but minecraft java edition politics and histoyr isn't relelvant here.

Each modloader (forge fabric, or neoforge) has an installer that that will install it for you if you go manual.

Since we are in curseforge, I assume you still be using it.

There is a setting* in the app it allow you to launch the game without launching the launcher.
Go in the app settings in the bottom left ⚙️ -> Minecraft -> Use "Skip launcher with CurseForge"

First off that is a prime example of why lex being uprooted is important detail. Jellsquid the creator of those mods was put off by lex's attitude and became only fabric.

This has changed with neoforge however.

This is mostly important depending on which minecraft version.

Well if you havea modpack witha ton of textures. There si a straight 3x fps boost due to an optimizaiton to animated textures.

well assuming thsoe numbers still apply in 1.21. This is from 1.12.2 from the mod VanillaFix.

Sodium has alot more thoug. That's just what I know off the top of my ehad.

So the memory issue can affect fps because it means minecraft has to constantly move data around vs having it be abel to sit and be used as needed.

This is particularly an issue with minecraft because it uploads rendering informatione ach frame.

FPS will tank if it has to deal with not enough space to store the current buffer its building before upload.

How to install mods in the CurseForge App

1. Click + Create Custom Profile
2. Name it, select the required Minecraft version, select the modloader & modloader version (usually the highest number), click Create.
