Do note the Profile codes seem to only do the content downloaded from cf, meaning if you did config changes or kubejs scripting its not sent to users

If you used the curseforge app to download the mods to a custom profile you made in the app. Then yes?

The curseforge app uses a copy of the official mc launcher. The cf app is a mod manager that just makes modding games easier

You can also use the installers from mod loaders if you want to manually install ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You can do it the old way if you want too, but that involved you manually installing the modloader and all the mods/their dependencies to the .minecraft folder and praying it was done correctly, if not you would have to start over till it does.
Vs use a mod manager app that does the java, modloader and dependencies installs for you
