Mcreator is known in the community, but not for being "famous" Most devs see it as a pain in the but to work with as Mcreator mods are mostly cookiecutter mods, that tendt to have issues with properly coded mods

I used to teach Mcreator to kids for a Robotics/coding camp. But when their parents asked how to get the program or next steps for their kids, I usually pointed to proper java coding classes, as it opens a lot more doors for the future then Mcreator does

No, repair profile is a softer version of the repair installation, which reinstalls the install folder the app uses for storing things like the mc launcher specific files, java, and modloader files.

Repair profile attempts to fix any of those files that may be having issues. Neither touch the Instances folder, which is where modpack profiles are kept

Lan and Modded MC has never worked all that well, as Minecraft's LAN was really only built to support Vanilla. The simplified steps:

1. Download server pack from curseforge
2. Unzip Server pack
3. Install Universalator, unzip it, and place it in the unzipped server pack folder
4. Place server pack folder in C:\ or any other drive root (It can actually be any non-system folder, but a root is the easiest I've found)
5. Run Universalator.bat (windows defender will try to stop you, click "More Options" then click "Run Anyway"
6. Follow onscreen instructions

@rough sparrow Yes I had this exact issue which I have now solved, I uninstalled all of my mods and did 1 by one on the mod pages, and boom, somehow before I couldn't download Power rangers skin pack, it would say "installed" and "purchased" but obviously wasn't cuz it wasn't in custom cosmetics in SP and unofficial, and would show in installed mods, I have now fixed it and can use the power ranger pack after a full reinstalling of all mods

Thing is a lot that get issues like this, either reinstall or dont open tickets. which makes it harder for app companies to know causes without user reports. These tend to be hard to replicate as well since it can be user/hardware/software specific

i can open a ticket if that helps but i think there arent any logfiles to provide. i found none. last thing is closing the app yesterday shutdown computer and went to work. today it was gone.

That I am not sure of. The app shouldnt be auto deleting itself. This would be something for a ticket for CF support to look at.

They may look at other system logs. See if your pc decided to randomly purge for X reasons.

You can only maintain a pc so much, somethings can still happen. there is no such thing as a "perfectly manitained pc". If there was, we would be already in quantum computing stages.

And regardless, we as volunteers can't help with the app removing itself, if that now is the case. Which is why a ticket it the way to go, with the logs collected from the app, they might have a chance to see what's happening, or even have to schedule a more advanced support session to check more things, like event viewer logs and stuff like that.

Normally when the AV removes it, it generally just deletes the exe-file. (in my experience)

minecraft will run the server on one thread, the client on one thread, networking on another, sound on another, forge has a thread for watching config files, some mods have threads for various other tasks, and worldgen will run on as many as you give it.
not all the threads will run all te time though, quite often they will sleep and do nothing for a while as they wait for work to do.

the ticking process of the server will run on one thread, unless you have a mod like mentioned above that changes that.
the server will always (unless you use mods to disable it (BAD IDEA)) use lots of threads for worldgen, as that is a part of mc that was recoded to work well multithreaded

well you need at least one thread to run a server... otherwise you dont have a cpu and so there is no computer to run minecraft

but more threads wont majorly impact a servers performance and allow it to have more players. they will help, particularly when people are exploring, but it wont be much in day to day playing.
the biggest impact there is cpu clockspeed, ram amount (to a certain point) and mods (and how players use those mods, ive seen servers brought to their knees by a hundred cauldrons and a create pump)
