nothing to do with the PC firewall. also disabling the firewall is a bad idea

ports are essentially pathways/tunnels into your network

and you can control what can get to that machine. if you don't set a port forward the tunnel is closed

I'm still on Mac OS 10.14, latest CF upgrade dropped support for that version and now I can't run the app anymore. Upgrading OSX is planned but not possible in the near future. Where can I get an older version of CF I can downgrade to?

All CF does is help you manage mods for games. There isnt a age restriction on the app itself, just on the games it uses. Only part of CF thats really age restricted is the Rewards program for authors that upload to the CF site

because vanilla jungle trees do not spawn coco beans from leafage

you either have to repeatedly grow jungle trees until a cocoa plant spawns on the trunk or find a jungle biome and pull a bean off of a tree there

it often toggles off the mods after an update

so you have to toggle them back on in settings in the game
