If you have a pc that has more then 8gb of ram total AND you have access to your routers settings, you could local host and portforward.

Portforwarding you would need to google how for your router, as its different for everyone

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Check if the modpack has a server pack, if it does: use that and skip below.
2. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
3. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
4. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
5. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
6. Run the server again.
7. Port forward your machine if needed. (Google it)

You could also use this community made tool for installing packs! Instructions are provided on the site.

if you dont want major headaches and days of troubleshooting, mc 1.12.2 and under. Anything over 1.13+ would recommned doing a pure modloader server, not a hybrid. As hybrid servers have gotten much more complicated to run due to modloader code changes and how plugins work

It will try to bypass your routers firefall, if it cant it will link to one of their "servers" and try to connect you to a friend. Mod also isnt a mod, but an installer, that installs another installer, that then insalls the "mod"

• Does the system have enough ram
• Is the correct amount of RAM allocated without going over excessively

• View distance too high

The list intentionally ambiguous. There is no way to figure out what specifically causes your FPS issues, if there actually are any. Low FPS could simply be a result of the mods chosen in which you would need to trial & error out which are affecting it.
