So if software disk wise is doing ok, other things that come to mind would be a: If youve done some of these already, All good. Just listing ideas off.

- malware/virus scans
- if possible a new or another harddrive just to make sure the pc itself is behaving
- if you have another pc that you can test it in, move your drive to another pc
- Reseat your ram
- Reseat your gpu (if its deticated)
- Or reseat everything
- popping out the cmos battery for 30sec+ while holding the power button

Any minecraft logs don't have any problematic information, that is why everyone has access to the same #🧱︱mc-other-help channel and helping people is encouraged as soon there is no helper/moderator already helping.
The most problematic information in a log can be the computer name and multiplayer server IP.

Highly unlikely, because even if someone wrote malware into the xml, if it's not formatted the way the game requires it won't run.
There's no known case of a virus from a package file, virus's due to downloading from a dodgy site are much more likely.

Why don't more Java players use AMD graphics cards? They usually perform much better than Nvidia and Intel when it comes to gaming. They aren't as good at ray tracing but you can't ray trace on Java without the sus BetterRTX thing that makes changes to your actual system

Yes if you allocate to much thats called bottle necking, where your system will start to suffer from lack of ram and in turn slow ur pc down, it can also put stress on the ram sticks and cpu which overtime will start to make it less efficent. Allocateing more the 75% of your ram will cause this, in some cases not even 75% can cause bottle necking, it also relys on the quality of your ram like DDR4 ram would handle 75% but anything below that could struggle
And also you got to keep in mind browsers like microsft edge use alot of ram so normally if your allocateing alot of ram to close browsers unless your browser (similar to opera gx) has a ram limiter and cpu limiter then ur fine

Playing with a shaders mod like Oculus, Iris, or others and want more flair to your world? Don’t know what shader to pick from or where to look? try looking on Shaderlabs or the shaders tab on the CurseForge site.
To get started using shaders:
- Download the shader mod and its requirements for the mod loader you’re using and run the game at least once to generate the shaderpacks folder
- Download the shader you want from either the CurseForge site or Shaderlabs (linked above)
- In the CurseForge app, right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile

There's issues with the TOS/EULA for Sony when it comes to shop mods. At the moment, while discussions are ongoing about the way forward, all shop mods must be PC only and not Cross-Platform. Any cross-platform shop mods will be taken down to avoid legal repercussions.
This is not a Curseforge choice, it's forced by Sony but CF has to respond.

so I have port 22 open for ssh for my server machine so I can work on it remotely.
port 22 is standard for ssh so port scanners will constantly probe that port then try to ssh into my server
I have key auth setup and password auth dissabled
so if they don't present a valid key then they are refused connection
MC is encrypted and uses the MS auth. with whitelisting it gets also even more secure

general 'help me do this big thing' requests are hard to get fulfilled, no matter where you ask as they requier quite a big time commitment.
its better to ask more specific questions like 'how do i add a recipe to this mod', in channels for that (like pack-development in the neoforge server)

Hi everyone I recently injured my knee and wanna play Minecraft through Curse Forge but it gets hard to sit at my desk and was wondering if their was a way to use my controller to play it with, I saw options for Steam and using it but it only lists instructions for vanilla minecraft and am lost as how to do that with me using the CurseForge launcher. Any advice? Please and ty.

Not sure for the cf app, could try the mod Controllable Forge or MidnightControls Fabric/Quilt
Tho controller mods will some times have issues with other mods just in gerneral.

Yea tried Controllable as I am using Forge and it keeps crashing after I added it so probably a conflict with another mod

More then likely. Could try a usb extender for your mouse and keyboard? Thats what I did after hip surgery
