at the moment it doesn't make much sense because it depends on a lot of things, and the fact Forge can load a world in ~10s. I agree that Fabric is optimized than Forge, just Forge has even more resources in terms of optimizations by mods from what I've been able to test find recently, everything on Fabric has been forked and there are still better fork in Forge for some reasons.
But I think that will change in 1 or 2 years.

hey would anyone here know how to run shaders with the create mod? i was trying to do it with iris and fabric and all that but when i put those into the mods folder with the create mod they dont show up on the curseforge mod page with the create mod. if that makes sense

I’ve never seen iris shaders show up on the curseforge mod page, but the mod always works for me. Try loading the game up and seeing if you can find the shaders section of the video settings.

Just make sure you still have iris shaders too. You need both of those to use shaders. Sodium is another one of those mods that won’t show up on the mods page in curseforge, but just know that if it is in your mods folder, it will run.

Ye - the initial launcher they wrote on top of the overwolf software so that they could get a proper app going faster after starting from zero. Once they settled out they made the standalone

it fluctuates between 25% and 5% of my cpu on startup, falls down to 0-5% on when idle, and jumps back up to a fluctuating 25% -- 5% for a few minutes whenever i do significant actions

a much higher performance level for sure

Two ways to share a modpack you made with others

:small_blue_diamond: Export and Share - For Friends / Small Groups

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack.

:small_orange_diamond: Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone

This option will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to create a new project
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project that you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations and !status to learn about the moderation process and how long it will take to approve/decline)
