Question is: What happens when you update any mod in a modpack & play on a existing world? Does things in the update gets added to existing chunks or what?

chunks don't regenerate, but newly generated chunks will be able to have whatever the mod generates

Which is fine. But, if new biomes are added to Regions Unexplored let's say. It's not viable to update that mod if the world had been explored 25k blocks in each direction

The alternative way to binary search

Follow the steps below for an alternate method to binary search:

2. Test the profile with no mods
3. Add 1-5 mods to the profile (using the app)

• If NO Remove the mods you just added then test the pack again

5. Repeat this process until the problematic mod(s)/plugin(s)/addon(s) have been found

Something Ive started telling people that are getting into making packs, take things slow. yes it may take more time, but the minute you start cutting corners to "speed up" the process, is the minute you start creating more work for your future self.

I did teach young kids (7-13) how to mod with mcreator for a summer camp.

However at the end of the week I would tell parents if their kids enjoyed this, to put them in real java coding camps/courses.
