i suggested an idea to the twilight forest mod devs and they spat in my face and dumped on my idea eventhough its better than whatever they have planned for the final boss they are supposedly developing

what idea is better than having a King Boss as the final boss that has locked up most of the twilight forests people, aka the minecraft villager variants of the twilight forest and your supposed to be the hero and rescue the villagers and defeat the King Boss in order to save the twilight forest, it would fit very well with the atmosphere of the game

then at the very end when you beat the king boss you obtain an overpowered sword or staff for your hardwork that you can use in other boss battles in various other dimensions

now for all i know the final boss will probably be something out of anime or a toaster strudel or something not that appealing as a twilight forest king boss

their loss though, ill make my own mod based off that storyline

whats a better storyline than you battling an evil corrupted king to save a village? ive literally played 100s of games with that similar storyline and its a better storyline than half the games that are out rn imo

especially games like Bramble the mountain king where its open world and stuff and you actually have to go on what they call a heros journey to save someone or something whilist running into problems and obsticles along the way

which the twilight forest mod has already setup with the final castle structure surrounded by thorns

they just havent added the final boss yet and probably wont since now they have switched gears and are revamping stuff that dont need revamped

if that dont spit into the face of everyone thats been waiting for the final boss to be added into the mod then idk what is

point is dont promise on something you know deep in your heart you cant deliver

which is why ive lost all respect for mod developers and they dont really deserve credit for something that they built off the fans trust and wonder if they are just gonna be selfish and not deliver on their promises

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

If you're wanting to run a mini-server (free) I'd use the essential plugin. It basically does exactly what you're asking for, but bear in mind im not 100% certain is doesnt have anything malicious in it. I just know its used by a lot of people

it doesnt exactly change your ip, but it does allow multiple people to connect to one world privately

not so much as malicious but using the protocols that it uses which are apparently meant for cell phone communications etc - it potentially sends information un-encrypted as well as the usual problems of LAN connecting exposing the entire computer and network(s) connected to attack. when you connect to a server via a port it does not do any of this and is much more secure. also mods work poorly with LAN and are coded specifically to work with servers. many mods have serious fatal errors trying to run via LAN connection.

I think the main issue here was it went from improper channel usage to an argument from a third party, which did nothing to benefit the OP in any way. And staff have said many times, to be patient and they'll do their best.

@lament pike If you're seeking support, I'd use the relevant support channels since moderators (least the ones that can help with that) primarily check those channels when offering support anyway. And if they see it here, they'll redirect you.

Also, you'll find other players that may be able to help as well
