Hello there. My project ended up on the June 2023 list of infected mods, and it says it has been permanently taken down. May I know who made the list?

This is because my project was never uploaded to Curseforge in the first place, but only on spigot & github (it's a plugin).

Also, the github link is completely safe and compiled literally by me. I know about the L10 virus that is spreading on server, but a fresh download from my github link isn't infected.

question playing minecraft is fine now if you checked your pc with the github/powershell thingy and you didnt install one of these mods
(didnt check the second thing with the dormant or smth but i didnt download the mods listed + ran my antivirus like 3 times + checked appdata local for Microsoft Edge thingy)

My understanding is once you verify there’s no infection with the detector, it’s okay to play it’s nonzero, so play at your own risk still, but that’s consistent for all downloads on everything

they only made that channel for the virus? makes sense, I remember that it didn't have any other messages besides stuff about the virus

The fact that it happened is the reason, but when you look at what everyone is saying they're disproportionate the numbers some were roughly saying something close to million of people yet CF already stated the approximate number was 6k, which is still a lot but no where close to what the videos are saying secondly you have to actually update the mods/ mod packs inourder to get the infection (thats what I been hearing). Now if you were infected you can easily delete the files and have to go through and reset passwords, luckily I think the mass majority of those effected were mostly mod developers and pack developers.
