Well, FWIW, I'm getting the same issue on that CurseForge servers url. Just all black. Firefox, but I do use uBlock Origin & Firefox's built-in privacy stuff.

Same exact behavior as WaterMelon described. The normal address (https://servers.curseforge.com/) is an all black screen. Firefox's built in, set to Strict, privacy stuff doesn't show anything as being blocked. uBlock Origin is blocking 2 things on the url - one duckduckgo and one googleatmanager item. However, the url with /promote at the end (https://servers.curseforge.com/promote) loads fine, with the same results on both Firefox's built in-privacy feature & uBlock Origin's front.

There are a few errors in the console for the site that's not loading properly, but idk if any of them are relevant and I don't know much about the console.

Here's a video showcasing the issue. As best I can tell from a layman's perspective, it's the 1920x0 shown from around second 35-39 of this short video I made. With the first site, in the Inspector tab of the console shows 1920x0 for all lines I placed the cursor over. The second site, with /promote at the end, is (correction, not 1920x) 1903x(large numbers - I think it must be the height of the item for scrolling down?).

It could also be the errors in the Console tab, but eh.

LittleDica was one of the creators who was a part of the official mod squad (a group of creators contacted early to prepare their stuff for CurseForge), so it's highly likely the gave permission for their stuff to be used in promotional material.

Well anyway, point stands- Curseforge is doing pretty bad with The Sims, this is a promotional render not made by the mod's creator, there's no attribution or credit or links whatsoever, they've got to do better. They don't have a great reputation with the sims right now.

LittleDica has since replied to the thread saying it surprised him, so he probably did not give express permission, likely signed it away by being in the "mod squad" program.

But again, for the third time, and I don't need some random third party trying to shut me up, what is your investment in this, they need to do better. Promote content with actual promotion, with links, with credit. Don't slap a fancy picture up and wipe your hands like you've done actual work, proud that you cheaped out on promotional materials by using someone elses without even crediting them.

Yes. I spoke with someone about it. I believe the issue was identified. Idk the timetable on fixing it, however. Holidays and whatnot. Hopefully it is resolved soon, however. Only seems to be affecting some people - not very widespread. You are the third person, including myself, that I know of who it's happening to.
