1. Right click the profile picture or Open the profile and click the Icon next to the play button.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Drag the mod(s) into the mods folder. (Note: Some mods will require others, to run. Make sure to read the instructions for the mod!)

Thats because the cf app doesnt touch the files in the .minecraft folder.

You would need to copy those worlds to the saves folder in the profile you made

3. Disable any programs that interfere with your connection. VPN, ping tunnels, antivirus, firewall.
4. Try restarting your router and modem. Also try using a different connection if possible.
5. Try reinstalling Curseforge.

If you still have issues open a ticket (!ticket-site for info) and send your logs with it.

Up until recently I was the person who was doing the discord stuff. Then stuff happened and CF/OW took that all away. So if you have issues with anything, there's nothing we can really do other than forward on your complaints as I don't have the ability to change stuff anymore.

What's the file that you exported? Interface folder or WTF folder? Those would both be manual copied items. Interface would have the addons themselves and addon settings would be within sub-folders of the WTF folder. The alternative would be the in-app Addon Sync function, which would just have the addon list in the cloud, but it's iffy sometimes.

If its not on the cf site, the cf app wont have it. Only the FTB app can grab from both the FTB site and the CF site. Not sure if ATLauncher can as well or not tho

They problem with wotlk support is that they made it unnecessary complicated. Sure autodetect of versions of game is fine, but at least they should've left option to correct the game version in something like drop-down.

It would be good to hear from CF why the support for WOTLK was not ready, the release date for pre-patch was known well in advance. They're the only fully supported addon manager, so its pretty important they stay on top of things. I love CF when it works, its effortless addon management and I appreciate them offering an Overwolf-free version for us. I installed the addons I needed manually for now, none are super crucial during pre-patch anyway since the raids are a faceroll

Agree. They’ve pushed hard for a monopolization of WoW addons. Simply fixing it days after release is not a good enough response to the community. We all deserve an explanation as to why this happened, addon authors ESPECIALLY. Authors spent a lot of time on Beta and PTR making sure things were ready for launch, only for the most basic functionality of Curse to be missing, and without ANY communication from CurseForge AT ALL about the issue, other than shutting down the support channels so people can’t complain. Disrespectful. And then act surprised when people switch to their competitors.

i´m, again, unable to start minecraft (The Pixelmon Mod) via Curse Forge, cause it´s showing me the same error code everytime: "couldn´t load launcher core from [...]. If this is your first time running minecraft, please ensure you are connected to the internet so we can download updates". After pressing "ok" i get another error code: "unable to start the Minecraft Runtime Environment. This is most likely caused by a corruption. Please try to reinstall Minecraft." I had the same problem like 2 days ago and was only able to fix it by deleting all minecraft, curseforge and overwolf data from my computer and installing all 3 completely new (ofc losing all my settings and saves in the progress). It worked for like a day and now the problem is back.

Error/Exit codes are useless. Follow these steps so someone can actually help you.

1. Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Open the logs folder.
4. Drag and drop the FILE named latest OR debug into discord.

Is there a mod that makes 1.12.2 just as fluid as the later versions?

1.12.2 feels clunky when doing stuff such as sneaking, activating the elytra or opening a shulker box, the fps is good there's no problem with that, it's just that the animations feel super clunky

Hope you trust your computers firewall then. Hamichi has horrible protection from blocking people from getting into your pc or Packet sniffing. How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Check if the modpack has a server pack, if it does: use that and skip below.
2. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
3. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
4. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
5. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
6. Run the server again.
7. Port forward your machine if needed. (Google it)

You could also use this community made tool for installing packs! Instructions are provided on the site.
