i suffer with exit code 1 a lot while making mod packs, its usually a result of bad mods for me, mods that are too much for my pc, mods that cant combine together, or mods that are just broken in general, only way ive figured out to fix it is disable mods that you arent sure work, and keep doing that a few at a time until the game loads up, then find out wich one it was

You could have it set up so that defeating a specific type of beast causes either flying or burrowing type mobs to spawn nearby to target the corpse of the slain-even targeting the drops themselves depending on the material- forcing the player to have to compete with generally passive mobs that have horrific features that require dedicated methods of combating

By the time players encounter this entity, they’ll have extremely expensive lategame gear that would be frustrating to lose - that could be the main limitation on such a mechanic:)
Currently I’ve been planning a system where it will be possible to “seal” this entity away by locating a portal in a similar way to a stronghold, then activating it to forcibly repel the entity. But it will be possible to resummon+kill as well for the additional rewards!

After upgrading my PC's SSD I lost all of my ark Maps. All of my buildings and structures, and while it was in creative mode, still hurt. But after learning some new building techniques It gives me an excuse to restart and rebuild. So here on a brand new map is the foundation of my new home. There is a lower basement level that is for storage and crafting. but here is the first floor of who knows how many.
