https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kowloon_Walled_City Was learning about Kowloon in class today, a city owned by China inside of Hong Kong during british occupation, but on account of the location of it, neither country cared about it, so it was left as a city almost entirely occupied by refugees from China whos qualifications weren't valid in the british-occupied Hong Kong, causing it to be incredibly densely constructed, though limited to 12 stories high on account of the nearby airport
This would be an awesome setting for a post-apocalyptic map/modpack
Super densely populated city in a flood, and the player's goal is to try and survive and find a way to escape from a threat of some kind
Was thinking zombies could be the threat but then it'd literally just be Die Rise from black ops 2 zombies and we all know how that turned out
But I'm imagining all of the exits being barred and the bottom 2-3 stories all being completely flooded
And the player needs to try and survive by scavenging the buildings, fighting off enemies, collecting resources and figuring out a means of escape, either as a raft or signalling a helicopter to land or smth
I now want to make an entire COD: Zombies clone just so I can have this idea as a map, that would be sick

The volcanic ash is what caused the plants to grow, so it's kind of a symbol for new beginnings, which is why I chose those blocks instead of blackstone or obsidian

Starting off with more texture varieties for cats, but I also plan on adding new mobs as well, one of them being the Cha Kla from Thai mythology: a completely black cat with red eyes that will flee upon the sight of humans, most significantly though, if you touch the Cha Kla, you will soon die. Added a landing perch for the subpteranodon, as well as making the roof 1 block higher and remaking the water trough completely
And then I just made the Vallumraptor cave a bit bigger so more than 2 can fit comfortably
The water on the outside was a stair i accidentally waterlogged from inside the cave (I just noticed it 💀)

mostly testing and seeing what causes crashes and what-not. had to find a unofficial hotfix for rubdubium since that causes crashes from lava flowing through transparent blocks like grass n' such.
