It probably doesn’t need to be completely rewritten, but at least add a count of how many heros of each rank to the equation to put the people that sacrificed/deleted most of their lesser heros to max ascend their pvp heros, presumably just so they can take advantage of being in a lower tier, are competing against actual peers. There’s no reason people with multiple teams of fully ascended heros should be competing in the same tier as those of us that have only been able to ascend our heros two or three times thus far.

It’s well known that the power levels are not at all an accurate tell of a teams capability and as such, power is an inappropriate measuring tool while splitting people into tiers based off the total number of heros of each rank should give a much more balanced gameplay.

@scenic salmon actually it would not your method of by how many fully ascended heroes would move me out of the top tier and guaranty me being first in every session.

Some people ascend their heroes, some don't even bother training them and just try and wing it into first place. Sorting by the number of ascended heroes isn't really representative of someone's ability to compete in PvP.

What if someone has ascended five heroes fully but only has fifty heroes in total so can't even compete across all PvP areas? I'm guessing they would fall into the top-middle tier & get annihilated on a daily basis.

What you're suggesting will create the same situation as people manipulating power to stay low, people will only ascend a specific number of heroes to stay low.

#

We have this exact discussion every time someone goes up a tier and doesn't like the fact that they aren't top of the pile anymore. Not a single one of those people have come up with a viable alternative to power being what determines tiers.

No attempts should be made.

@scenic salmon they manipulate their power

scenic salmon

Exactly the purpose of my suggestion

@scenic salmon but that will not work better then the current system, I only have 3 filky ascended heroes no 5 stars to sacrifice so you would possibly have to deal with me and that would be even worse than what you have

Power manipulation is a problem that needs addressing but as I said before, people will only manipulate ascendencies if that's how tiers are sorted so doing this will do nothing.

#

They actually made it worse by allowing people to apparently go up and down tiers, whereas before once they crept over into a higher tier, they couldn't drop

#

and they made it worse by allowing people to use one team to attack

#

I believe that's right about the up and down tiers thing. Gib may know better

#

They keep tinkering with it but haven't found a solution to keep everyone happy yet. Reason being, everyone wants to win and that is just not possible.

#

Power isn't everything and neither is ascended heroes. I've probably got as many ascended heroes as anyone in the game and am top in power. I very rarely finish first. Why? Because EkiMike's daily routine is to wake up, brush his teeth and repeatedly attack me, brush his teeth before bed and repeatedly attack me again. Because Quicky Earthworm can somehow expend 168 PvP energy attacking a level 5 ship 21 times in two hours. Because TalmorK is a ** and sneakily upgrades despite putting utter rubbish in PvP assets.

They need to go back to that, or they need to do something. As it currently is, the top of my tier is full of people from your tier that have manipulated their power to drop tiers.

See now? OG not happy 🤣

The real answer is to make the top tier worth more than the lower tier so you get more for being in a top tier.

#

But we've been asking for that since tiers were introduced years ago.
