#voodoo witch needs revamp

@tawny crow mine is over 18k damage. It is how you build her.
What’s your poison damage currently?
level 5 and 4150
I see I need to max her ascension first before she can be fully viable.
@tawny crow Gib isn’t even running a performance build with his voodoo witch. He’s running his pure middle of the road for defensive pvp.
A stat sheet built around first strike damage dealing has her hitting strong defense heroes for 4-9k attacks and 4-6k DOT dmg.
Voodoo Witch is currently, easily the top ranged, single target damage dealer in the game. When I read your title about her needing a revamp, I came here expecting a whine about her being TOO OP and needing a nerf
And that’s actual mitigated damage numbers. On paper mine hits for 22988k
Shhhh
It’s not a big secret. Gibs build is probably more viable but definitely not as fun
@trail pendant I modified your build
Modified from this?
Yea. My blue points were already partially set and didn't redo them. And you had her equipped differently at one point
I’m doing my second one much better. This build is purely for speeding through the trials by killing everything in 2-3 hits
Particularly for the lvl 20 valor boss which seems to only be vulnerable to the voodoo witch
Vulnerable to poison
And fire but also she’ll hit him for 2-4k crits on direct attack
Using voodoo witch, demolisher and young archon
Pair it with terrify and the battle is over quick
Still waiting for demolisher to see how effective the chain attack is.
Young archon just for the full party attack damage?
Why does terrify make the battle over? Isn’t that skill melee only?
Because one of the effects of terrify is that it causes the target to use a movement turn on hit which triggers any effect on that target to tick as if it was their turn. So fire/poison will tick dealing damage and shock/freeze will be reduced by one. If you have an enemy with a lot of health and a healer on them keeping them at full health faster than you can inflict enough damage, attacking them with terrify, even if they are immune to it, is an effective way of quickly out damaging a healer’s cast time.
