As far as I understand, they are both on the left side of the ship, as shown in the video above.

There are few pixels of gap. They are in a similar spot. Perhaps we could adjust that for that particular build, but it looks like what I would expect from the current setup. In-universe, one is on top of another.

No, they don't actually have a physical presence. You'd have to hit the hull, and that comes with all other kinds of problems if that was to occur
