Jury rig config should be kept until the component in question has a repair done on it at Enceladus.

The use case is when you have a component that's not worth it to repair since it okay for the time being, and you tuned it so that the damage affects a stat that's less important to you. Currently, at the beginning of a dive, these changes have to be re-applied every time.
In case people forget to reset it, the auto-reset should still happen when the part is fixed.

In universe, this would be the duct taped/hotwired solution being removed once the parts are available to fix it properly. However, if you don't have time for maintenance and immediately go back to the rings, the modification would stay.

I almost always repair things up after they get damaged anyway, so this likely wouldn't affect me often if at all, but it makes sense from an in-universe perspective. Might be tricky to implement though, depending how the back end for the game handles this data.

I like this idea because jerry rigged repairs are probably mostly hardware based, they shouldn't mysteriously reset on their own.

Unless your crew undoes them due to strict pre-flight inspection laws

But I do like this idea

While we are at it, make the other OMS settings persistent as well. Like the power on/off state of certain equipment.

I think resetting the OMS sliders is a feature specifically coded into the game. I might look up why it was this way.
