I figure this would be a low priority thing but: some sort of generator to produce a little more thermal energy, analogous to the generators for electric energy. The reasoning is that on the Titan, it seems like some of the engines consume too much thermal energy to properly support three of them, even with the highest output reactor (specifically the MA-NMPD42 and Experimental NPMP). That being said, maybe this is an intended challenge to come with a massive ship like the titan.

bigger reactors?
or more reactors or maybe even both
by more I mean being able to have several reactors on a a single ship
honestly ya its more that the titan needs a special class of reactors for itself. Otherwise MPU wise it would be a bolt on additional reactor.
That is actually being planned for the CERF according to the roadmap
I'm not sure how a device on a ship would generate more heat in a way that makes sense though, other than installing a second nuclear reactor. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it would make more sense to just raise the temperature of the nuclear reactor instead, which you can already do in-game.
I think ur prolly right about an extra device not really being effective and it'd make more sense to just modify reactors
But I think increasing reactor temp doesn't actually increase thermal power
It just gives you more time to use things which drain temperature
It does give you more electrical power though
Yeah, the highest thermal output core I can use wouldn't support the MA-NMPD42 on a Titan. But honestly, do you really need the strongest main thrusters? I kind of like the balancing act of trying to find the best equipment for the role and ship I use. After all, there's not much reason to have supercharged thrusters when you're just floating around as a near autonomous-miner.
That's a fair point of view imo but I think it could still be good to give people the option
