We have a short-cargo bay Prospector (the Vulture), so what about a long cargo bay Prospector?
Maybe the extended cargo bay would increase the cargo and processed ore capacity by about 1.5 or 2 times, at the cost of manoeverability, centre of thrust and overall dV.
Names would be appreciated. Currently Pelican is in the lead.

I like the idea of this - potential lore could be that there is a small ship refit/tuning company that makes these by chopping up existing eagles. Could add an additional tradeoff related to reduced durability because of the extra welded in hull sections

Maybe excessive damage to the welded parts can cause the extension to literally be force-chopped off of the thing
