see the main issue i have seen in all of these so far is that blue prince is not actually true rng

its actually incredibly highly manipulatable, i've managed to draft every single room that i want in consectutive runs for quite some time now because i've been taking advantage of the way the game explicitly manipulates RNG and the way that you gain access to room manipulation with many mid to late game options

the reason it announces the day is also so that you can solve certain puzzles which are day reliant

i think it's pointing toward the chess puzzle, something about L shaped rooms, that specific books have information in them i haven't seen, (possibly including the fixed stars and the red prince) and some word game stuff i didn't get

@fallow elm the current endgame of blue prince essentially is just three major unanswered questions

1. the spirals ||the tended rose vine anagram + the spiral in the wooden box + the spiral of stars (something you get at 100 stars) all seem to lead to the conclusion that this is a spiral of madness that has sort of haunted this family and also the player meta wise. It's like a pretty clear unsolvable puzzle that represents I think the idea of games being limitless as a child or something like that||

2. The sacred note in the clock tower and the many instances of sacred across the game. ||nobody really knows what's up with this. A lot of people think this is a cut puzzle that requires a second input in the Aries court clock. This is also closely related to the eclipse/moon. Nobody knows what's up with that.|| datamining spoilers ||there IS an eclipse asset in the game files but it's disabled and doesn't appear in game||

3. "There is a letter missing"
   ||the blue memo in the pantry says that and in the same room there's a coffee bag that says "coffe." All across the game there's secret hidden letters or missing letters, like if you look at the mechanarium there's an N/Z. Theres a bunch more like this but again doesnt lead to anything||

The theory I subscribe to is there's a hidden message in room 46 Ala MAZE

There's also a lot of work to do wrt figuring out the dates of everything in one big timeline but apparently there's quite a few continuity errors

Also with point 3 there's a genuine line where people can't tell if something is intentional or a typo

|| if you KNOW every puzzle type (knowing it's a reuben puzzle = you solve it) --- if you figure out one of them, you get a sound, this is the ONLY way you know you've gotten it right --- there are so many red herrings, there are words that are wrong, it's a puzzle room like the billards and parlor room, so you think it's a minigame puzzle and not an overarching puzzle (thinking it'll reset every time and give you harder puzzles), so you naturally ASSUME it's like the other two and not more complex with answers elsewhere in the game --- And the only hint I know about is telling you the first letter of each word, which due to the red herrings, if you already never got the first one right, you'll just stumble into the wrong assumptions. ||
