I think storm is in an awkward place, as shes been buffed to be strong, but her kit is still anti synergistic- flight, non hitscan pericing projectiles that are bad when flying, auras that want you to be close but low health.
If she is buffed enouh to be good I think its going to be very easy to make her too good, even not considering the ult, she is increadibly strong rn.
I think they should change one part of her standard kit in some way. My preference would be replacing her team buffing "auras" based on her position with buffing stationary aoe weather effects.
Like, press the ability button, get a choice like Invisible Woman's bounce, but its either "wind corridor speed boost" that makes a vertically tall horozontal line of wind away from you that gives you and allies speed boost while inside it or "lightning storm" circular AOE that adds a damage to normal attacks.

yeah best way to use it is start close to the nest then run around like crazy. It is useful as either a way to cut off escape routes or just chase off enemies.
i prefer to do a spin or tw9 around the point then go dive the healers or isolated enemies unless I lose life fast.
