It means that Apollo was already really low at some point, maybe regenerated, then bit it in that fight and you were credited with so much damage towards the kill that you got the assist
It happens fairly often when I’m kidnapping people as Doorman, the Baroness damage sticks around for a while and picks up the assist (and the Trophy Hunter stack)
Sometimes you’ll even get awarded the primary kill credit straight up, if you’re still nearby and did damage semi recently as well as doing the lion’s share of the work, regardless of who scores the last hit

Usually you want to approach with 2, use you 1 then 3 then 1 the shoot and if you can light melee to extend 3 duration and reload, just be careful not to make it too telegraphed or you will get parried and die
