if my lane partner is like, bad bad then I'm screwed too because her waveclear ain't the best and I can't really rotate elsewhere unless I want to fully sacrifice the lane
this is kinda the case for anyone but if I'm Bebop or The Lash I still have some playmaking tools when behind; Calico just sneaks up and uses her full combo and if that doesn't kill or drop them low enough to make them want to leave then you're in a bad position

Cool, then I remember 3 pieces of advice from when I tried her
First, using jump pads and air movement gets a lot of value on her, both for aerial TNT bombing and for roaming
Second, light punching the TNT barrels flings them and make them explode on impact. Grounded punches sends them on an up angle, airborne punches sends them on a downward dunk. Jumping in place and immediately doing a barrel throw-and-punch can be great for instant damage, and of course there's the classic jump padding over them to toss barrels in their face
Third, the knockup from barrels can make it easier to hit headshots and lasso. I did not get good at utilizing this advice at all
