and if every major craftable (Like leave bone throwing knives asd is) worked off the cracked approach

you coudl have a really cool system that encoruaged item use, didnt fele puntiive, could make exploring feel really rewarding

and still encouraged good design choices

as it is, you either hope there's a bell bearing (and good fucking luck finding the new bell bearings in the dlc)

or you grind

...or you do what me and many, many other players do, and just cheaet engine in these resoruces because holy shit

i do not want to psend my time grinding in a single player g ame

Also if you can look past their very short rain, Scriptsmith Backhand blades are very good at poison applciation in a arcane build

But if you do get a free chance to use it, it can do a lot of sustained damage.

It's good against 'uses the same rule as the player' enemies as it can stunlock them

The funniest use I found was against that 3x Crystalan boss fight.

I poisebroke them with by bottle then just danced them all to death as they become 0 poise after you've broken them once

The other funny place for using Endless Dance: Traveling through poison swamps.

As the dance speed doesn't care about 'in water'

So the 'moves faster than you walking normally' dance becomes a lot faster than trudging.
