Okay so here's how I think it works

#

||If you pick the stone sword up from the fog catacombs, you bring it to the second altar and it becomes the darkness sword||

#

||If you pick it up at the second altar, and bring it to the catacombs, it becomes the light sword||

#

I have a person doing what I did in reverse
