kqe-1j-23 is one of the abnos I don't have a very good read on- generally I tend to think it's in relation to needing help and being trapped within a "routine" of some kind (as enforced by the circuity)- see the Mirror Dungeon event, the smile on the screen but the robot's gestures are pleading for help, and it continually follows through with the tour guide shtick

(Gregor's log on the abno referencing a toy crane and trapped dolls in relation to it's mechanic is also instructive here I think)

Where it relates to Heathcliff under this analysis (which may be wrong!) is that while he wears his heart on his sleeve, initially his violent persona hides a fuckton of self-loathing that explodes into full view (like the abno showing it's heart directly) in his Canto- that is nonetheless expressed through those very same tendencies that comprise his persona (see the ego cutscene, where he beats the shit out of himself, so to speak)

Note that he also cannot talk about the events of the canto with anyone, thanks to Cathy being fundamentally erased, which we know is preying on his mind afterwards, and has to follow along with the consensus reality of the Group

At least that's my reading on the abno- again, it's one of the ones I'm unsure on and I could entirely be wrong
