I suspect the plan here is that Pinkyshu will offload damage from herself onto Nursefathers causing them to slowly die, and when they’re at critical anyways you go “OK it’s snack time for Ryoshu” and feed her the near-death ID for a permanent buff

The end result basically being that it shortens their lifespans a little but doesn’t like

Actively erase a perfectly useable ID

The super mega Rend Space is probably in the same category as ManaDon’s Responsibility buff, you don’t go hunting for it but it’s your back pocket fuck-you for if the fight goes REAL bad

Every time we see Pinkyshu kill off an allied Nursefather in the reveal trailer it’s under the same circumstance - she uses Deathedge on one enemy, then switches to the ally and uses her unique copy skill animation on them to erase them

This implies two things:
using Deathedge creates the situation that triggers her erasure follow-up (so maybe you can avoid erasing an ally if you just don’t use Deathedge) and, because we see her use both a different Rend Space that’s unrelated AND use Deathedge without hitting an ally afterwards, the ally erase is a follow-up skill that activates automatically when you reach a certain condition and then use Deathedge

We also have no idea what causes the Predestinated Clash effect that is seen towards the end of the reveal trailer where copies of Ryoshu can be seen looming behind enemies

My baseless speculation is that she’s gonna siphon allied NF HP, either in Reverse Flow mode by blocking and taking hits and then offloading the damage, or in Forward Flow mode by dealing damage and stealing their HP for increased power on her attacks

Which sets up for her to to erase them when they’re at critical HP and she’s ready to use the funny

The end result is you can either field Nursefathers with their team and have Ryoshu there as your emergency out, who swoops in, kills your previous team leader, and goes nuclear

Or you can play the Run Fast Throw Hard Die Young all Nursefathers and Ryoshu team

I definitely foresee her being the Sinister Slot Stealer though

It’s a great opportunity for them to institute solo ID gimmicks
