I've been running him on a burn team with Dawnclair and he's felt very good

The consistent wrath res keeps Dawnclair going, and he himself seems quite strong as well

Depends, there are a couple good options on both even if they tend to clash low

And both bad ends for those seasons are finicky- Spicebush has a bad S1 and Captain Ish hates when she isn't getting the kill

Sinking Deluge is it's own thing but generally yes

He has a niche on sinking teams, which is that his S3 is a certified Funny Button

In terms of meta sinking, I would go with Solemn Lament in the non-Index teams since it gives you more consistent sinking count and damage, and obv if you have Index Don, Rien Sang slots into that team well

But Spicebush can do over 10k, I think just shy of 11k, with his S3 on a maxed target that is 2x weak to gloom

He also has some stuff because his sinking application is for next turn, so you can crash the stack, build it up, and it will add to it without having to worry

Other options for the s2 ticket are Molar Ish, who despite everything is still the best available sinking Ishmael out there, Molar Outis who is I think "outclassed" by T Corp Outis in tremor but has discard so gets s3s much faster, and K Corp Hong Lu, who just doesn't ever die if you have gluttony skills

He is very consistent, when you need him to do 200 damage with an S3, he'll do 200 damage with an S3. When you need him to deal 400 damage with an S3, he'll do 200 damage with an S3

He will however survive anything short of a 25 kill streak being used on him since you get a button that says "hey if you volunteer to not attack 1 turn I'll take away your only stagger threshold"
