That might be thin, but really, if you had to explain how a penniless wanderer outright manifested EGO and changed his outlook so much, all while learning how to use Shin and Mang together, “he had a mentor who did this for him” is one of the simpler explanations, isn’t it? But I understand if none of this is convincing
