I use it to destroy outposts or holes and pair it with stun or impact grenades.

honestly it seems best either for defense missions where the ammo and respawns flow like water, for solo/ranger runs where you are off on your on and need to close breaches and destroy fabs FAST from a distance or specifically paired with the shield or a las heavy low ammo use build

its also surprisingly good at taking out turrets, tanks and hulks if you hit even a little near their weak spots

so does pair well with scythe or sickle and any support thats NOT great for taking out turrets, tanks or hulks

it also pairs well with the mod that givs full ammo on respawns

i like to use it like a morter sometimes-the range is more than you would expect, and it reloads fast enough to basically delete a medium or lighter patrol or drop for free

@naive dragon One thing i've found realkly helps - be on the ball with marking things on the map and using the callouts like "Follow me" and "TRhank you" or marking a target when someone else has marked it to acknowledge you see it and you're gonna help etc

That goes a really long way to keeping stuff chill, as does just apologizing in chat if you do do a whoopsie and wipe a teammate

like i borught the wrong barrage ionto bugs earlier, and it was fine, no one minded

Ballistic shield doesn't work with Eruptor or Laser Canon
Energy Shield is solid, but it's not a huge jump in survival if you're already wearing medium fortified or heavier.
Ammo packs don't do a lot for you, or require a bunch of team coord to really shine, and this Loadout is a very roamer-favoured.
Drones don't add a lot, and mostly fuck with your stealth ability, though I might be sleeping on the liberator drone.

So that leaves jetpack, Shield and Ammo pack as the big options

And of those, Jetpack gives you something you have no other way to get - mobility and range of motion.

LC has infinite ammo, obviously, and can flex into melting some bot weakspots like turrets.

But it's much less mobile and is worse at crowds.

Oh, and LC often has worse TTK than MG at high RPM.

MG at high RPM is a solid main gun when fired in bursts - takes down all sorts of common enemies quickly.

LC has a brief delay, and doesn't really do accurate burst fire.

But it also has essentially infinite range.

so the bottom turret is the shredder tank's turret, which shares the same turret model as the one above though bigger
im fairly certain ive seen the above turret on top of turret towers but completely inactive for some reason
as in they were indestructible but didnt do anything

Yeah small turret towers show up occasionally show up but do nothing

There are also AA station turrets

Shredder Turrets can also be killed with 2 impact grenades from any angle, no need to flank

Autocannon and similar can kill from any angle that's not face on as well

one thing i appreciate in helldivers 2 is just how many massive enemies you fight in a single mission
in other games things like the bile titan or factory strider would be like, setpiece bosses
