There were issues in the past with AMD GPUs but that was like a 2017 thing

I think the only notable difference is for absolute end tier graphics processing, often beyond what games nowadays are capable of using effectively is the the highest end nvidia cards beat AMD cause AMD don't really go that high end as most consumers will not need something lke that for years. My biggest issue with the arc thrower atm is when you're trying to stunlock a hulk, but then the arc misfires and the hulk immediately one-shots you with a flamethrower or rocket barrage

Once they fix the misfire it'll be my go-to anti-hulk weapon (even with the misfire it's still super competitive in that role)

Okay jokes aside, I have never used the 120 or 380.

What do I bring them for? Where are they best?

So the 380mm's niche is basically

• base destruction
• strongest demolition call in
• wide area denial
  and the 120 is basically 50% of a 380

The 380mm has a rough kill radius of 60 meters and its about 30 for the 120

They aren't entirely reliable but last a long time

So they're best against static targets

they're great for taking large automaton bases and big bug nests

Since they at the same time kill and mess up the defenders and blow up fabs/holes

While the orbital laser can only really do one and then the other

they're also pretty good for buying 20-30 seconds at extract

just throw them as far as possible in the direction the enemy is coming from

It sounds like a reasonable swap for the laser if multiple other ppl are running it (very common in my experience, plus I think there’s diminishing returns after 2 ppl bringing laser)

Yeah I agree

Laser is great since you can throw it down when being overrun and it helps a lot

380mm can't save you there but has better uptime and makes it easy to take bases

Which is invariably what I use the laser for anyway

Plus, variety, life, spice, etc.

they are also really good for extract, run out away from the landing pad THEN throw them and you can cut off the ENTIRE aproach, wide enough to cut off multiple possible airship landing places

and if you are rocking the explosion resist heavy armour you can fully throw down a 380 on your position, crawl around and probably survive
