Chargers win by making you panic and lose situational awareness, which lines you up for the actual killers, Hunters and Spewers

Who thrive on your lack of awareness

Chargers are meant to create lapses of attention

Don't let them, focus on the targets at hand and simply move around chargers until you get good opportunities to punish them for their hubris

I sort of basically charge down chargers, if you veer off with a dive they just sort of rodeo past ya and you can explode the weak bits

I don't like being swarmed with things clustering around me in every direction, I don't like being slowed down by half the attacks they have, I don't like the way bile works, I don't like the way their reinforcements spawn in or how quickly they call it, nests are visually boring, the spore clouds are either trivial because the tree can be seen from a mile away or obnoxious because it blinds you, I don't like that their grunts are half my size and come out of nowhere, I hate that there's invisible assassins who always know where you are at all times, literally nothing that isn't a Charger or Bile Titan is fun to kill, and every fight is either me curb-stomping them or them curb-stomping me, zero middle ground.

Bots on the other hand, I can take cover, I can draw their fire so someone else takes the shot on them with things like tanks and towers, when I take something's head off it dies instead of going into a super speed berserker rage, the only slowdown effects are easily avoidable things built into the terrain, I can suppress them with autofire, I like the way dropships deploy, I like the bases and buildings and whatnot, the things with high armor and weakpoints have ones that make a degree of sense, and we just got the Factory Striders in time for us to just wipe them off the map until the game decides we've been punished long enough for fighting them that it gives us them back.

I get that a lot of the community likes fighting bugs, their reasons are fine, I'm not saying they're wrong.

Helldive bot missions were exceedingly manageable for me

Whereas Helldive Bug missions are consistently an awful slog

Part of it is that most players were used to Bugs

so their tactics and appraohces and loiadouts were well tuned

then there's been a massive surge of lets kill b ots

aand now people are having to relearn how to fight bugs who are very different

like bots you cant stand and fight, you loose 100% of the time because of them shooting back, hit and run

bugs, doing too mcuh running gets you overwhelemd

and you have to manage stand and fight with when to run a lot more carefully

bugs reward very different skillsets and have very different weak points too - Bots are very easy in that regard (SHOOT THE HEAD. Or the glowy vent bit)

but bugs it's often "Shoot the head (if you have v. high armor pen), otherwise it's the leg, or you need to circle, or you need to be a flamethrower pro"

Anyway, bug loadouts i like:

FT/Shield/500kg/Medium Medic/Impact/Slugger or Punisher or Breaker

Good all around loadout, excells at hoard clear and taking out chargers. Can only deal with bts via 500kg them, but you're very tanky between shield and medica rmor, so drop 500kg and run under the titan's legs to cconfuse it works well.

AT/Laser Drone/500kg/Medium Medic/Impact/Primary of choice.

Brings a lot of range fire power, Drone keeps things off you while you disintergrate groups at range. Can kill anything and everything in the bug line out, but not always fast. Careful into teams - but if everyone brings arc resist armor, you can get spicy with tesla towers.

Explosive is what's needed to kill their sacks in reasonble time. The sacks have no armor, but only take 10% damage unless it's explosive tagged

Bugs don't care about injuries like bots

They will kill you with one claw
