Now just buff the blitzer's fire rate and the arc weapons are great.
1s is the stock fire rate, which is just annoyingly slow and allows stuff to get right on top of you

I think the biggest issue I still have are the laser weapons for now (despite my initial reaction).
Scythe and Dagger don't quite cut it (haha) while the Sickle is too good of an allrounder.

since it's only been a month, and i suspect they're not keen to instant nerf a warbond weapon
(also because i think people overrate it vs other oiptions, it's a great workhorse, but only a workhorse)

I still have my scorcher for bots, but I'm just hoping the slugger can still knock back Brood Commanders and onetap Hunters, since if it can't it's back to the Punisher for me

Punisher is very good for this. Sickle, while less effective at the knock back part, is also very good at cutting off limbs and such on Brood Commanders and Hive Guards

It would really benefit from swapping scopes with the Sickle, which would also immediately make the Sickle less of a perfect all-rounder.
I don't think either one needs big changes. A few less mags for the Sickle, swap scopes...

I guess those thresholds are just more consistent now, rather than sometimes not happening (in the case of the raiders and troopers)
The dagger just needs more damage, because it's just too low rn.

it does, lascannon is an excellent weapon, I just don't like it
interested in new Dominator for bots, since the main use of the slugger was oneshotting standard robits and staggering devastators with each hit while fishing for headshots
I'm still not sold on it being excellent, but it works.

one of the things they mentioned, the explosions registering hits against helldivers multiple times, is a really nice thing to patch out

i've always been a dominator believer but now that it is a whole 1.5x stronger i might have to pick it up full time
but it feels a lot better now
Dominator is good against bugs too but there are so many scavengers that it's usually better to bring something smaller like the new laser rifle.

dilligence is good for bots when you don't want the aoe (teammates) or want much longer range to take stuff out. The only things it can't deal with are tank turrets, tanks, and hulks
counter sniper I haven't bothered to grab as of yet, maybe that'll change but unlikely
though the biggest nerf is that it no longer destroys crates

i was expecting the arc thrower to get put into railgun tier purgatory but good to see it's still doing cool stuff with the adjustment

the railgun isn't in purgatory as much as people have stopped using it because they saw "nerf" and immedately discounted it
it's still good for mediums and weapointing some things
ill agree it could use a bump, but for the ammo pool it has and being backpackless it's aight rn
as for the thing that worried me the most: devastator "constellation" spawns do in fact hurt a lot
i've seen more grouped rocket devastators, but at least they deal the intended amount of damage instead of doming you even with heavy explosive resist armor now
not to mention the sky rocket devastators
i was extremely worried that heavy devastators would be way more common but it seems the base devastators which are a lot dinkier ended up in their stead

Now it's a choice between using the actual stagger shotgun (punisher) or the precision shotgun.

mostly buffs, slugger got love tapped, power got moved around on the arc thrower (lost range and firespeed, gained immense amounts of stagger)
breaker incendiary getting a 33% damage buff AND all sources of fire getting a 50% dot buff* (barring any client side issues) sounds like it'll be straight up unfair vs the little bugs

And heavy armor minor buff? Bless I'm gonna try out non explosive resist heavy armor on bots now

You can do 3 quick charges for full damage after fully charging (false)
You can do infinite amounts of full damage quick charges after fully charging as long as you don't stop firing (false)
You can shoot faster after fully charging (false)
Anyway, qucik slugger on bots test:
Can't bully heavy devs anymore, but still 1 hit kills them to the head.
One taps troopers to the body still, including maruaders etc.
AP seems to have changed? It's capable of grey-hits on Tank and Cannon vents now, which it wasnt before.
It bounced off those previously.
Me when I'm in a spreading misinformation competition and my opponent is an arc thrower statistics enthusiast:
not a very good option for killing them, but you can do it.
Ballistic shield’s fine for bot survivability
More consistent than the projected shield, especially when running away so you don’t get hit by stray fire
I like combining it with the defender smg and hmg
Something I really want with the ballstic shield is being able to place it as cover

I think, one of my favorite tiny details in the game, is that if you're holding a charge with the arc thrower and die, it still lets off the shot because you're no longer holding the trigger
Not sure how i feel about the arc thrower change. I'm going to miss the 40% dps loss now that you can't chain fast shots after a full charge anymore

I was basically randomly grabbing the scorcher or the slugger depending on whims, they're very similar weapons for bots
scorcher has a major advantage over the dominator in how quick and handy it is to use
and the fact it just ruins scout striders
but dominator is better for devs
liberator penetrator having full auto is so good
I was a little disappointed by the liberator pen the first time I tried it, maybe I'll give it a go again

I think if I wasn't autocannoning, the Dom would pull ahead, but it's so easy to just autocannon Devs down and use the Scorcher for troops or individual, the Scorcher makes more sense currently

GL flattens dev packs at most ranges
dom probably better if you're going RR/Quasar/Spear
spear might actually be worth a shout now it's easier to resupply

the GL is just kind of the Everything Gun, only biles and hulks will stonewall you and I think it was even in one of the developer reports as Perfectly Standard Support Weapon

It’s reasonably controllable with recoil reduction armor you just don’t get that much more firepower
if they're clumped up, their feet because the ground doesn't move and it staggers them. Impact nades are generally better for berserker clusters tho ime
(and/or nades in general impacts are just faster effect so easier to get them done faster)
I wish they gave the Laser Cannon the chargeup/heat meter in FP like they did for the quasar

the annoying part about recoil reduction armor is that while it reduces the recoil as if you were in the next lower stance (or by an additional 30% when prone) it keeps the sway as usual
