in order to gather copper you need to find surface ore or pan it then once you get enough you can smelt it using a crucable and molds(which you had to make in a pit kiln out of clay) to make a pickaxe and hammer and once you have those two you can go to those places you found surface copper dig under them and find more copper that you can hammer to get the copper nuggets out of, then you need i think to gather nuggets to make an anvil to make things you cant make a mold for like saws.

I've been doing the compact machines start in Project Ozone 3 and going mad with power.
It's also a fun challenge to try and force as much progression as I can inside of a compact machine.

Dang. Hitting an annoying technical issue.
Because this run has me living in the compact machines dimension most of the time, I can't make a standard dark room mob farm. The reason is that compact machine chunks always spawn 10+ chunks away from each other so I can't be within 128 blocks to keep the mobs from despawning. You can bypass this by having nobody in the dimension, but the point of the world is to do everything in compact machines if possible.
In practice I think this means I have to idle in my mob spawner block to let it build up, then use those materials to build Woot farms which are entityless, so they shouldn't suffer from the same issue.

I got emerlad in a goofy way
I went to the nether found some emtrald gear then i made a powerd drying machine which i used to turn lava into lavablocks then lavablocks into netherack then i grinded that down and swqaished it to make blazepowder and sulfer which i used to make pyrodust which i used to smelt the emrald armor to make a single emrald block

I'm currently putting off automated processing of my ex nihilo sieve output because I plan on making compact machines with mystical agriculture farms, but goddamn am I gonna need a lot of diamonds first, which means lots of not-diamond sieve output. >.<

Had to go into the configs to fix this issue: you can only make twilight forest portals in the overworld by default in Po3, so in the compactSky world where you can't place anything in the overworld... It's a problem.

like 1/4 the launch time is just the ftb launcher twiddling its thumbs
so i downloaded and installed forge myself (make sure you get it for the right game version) (may have to redo depending on what version of forge the server is running) then go to here and then set the game directory to the ftb instance and you get to skip all the ftb prelaunch stuff

I set up a thing at the ae2 meteor near spawn it will auto farm the dust and crystals, there's a me chest you should just be able to take the stuff out of, if it rubs out of dust and isn't doing anything take out some of the crystals and it should fix it

If you have the tables you're all set up for it the tl;dr you break down gear that has apotheosis effects on it for rarity materials and gems for gem dust in the salvaging table. Then you use that stuff and a piece of gear into a reforming table the level of rarity items determines the rarity that will be applied to your gear
It's kind of like enchanting but you get to see exactly what's going to be applied

And keep the low tier rarity stuff so if you don't get any options you like you can do a low tier reroll (by the way you can endlessly reroll you just have to pay the non increasing cost every time) an item to change the rolls everything would get

the disenchanter will pull enchants off of things (you many need to bring blank books but its supplied with power and xp, and then you can put horse armor or diamond things in the pulverizer to get some diamonds back (i use them for the stuff you can get from the enderman backpacks)

oh thanks, I went and got an elytra from the end city you mentioned but I didn't use it because the loot chest right next to it gave me that one spellbook that launches you in the air and gives you a minute of elytra wings

Ahhh another trouble shooting tank. Was checking to see if I was having a supply issue or a reactor issue. That’s why it was just tacked on.
Before I got disconnected and just decided to go home I was working on the fuel system.

i fixed those two connections and turned your reactors back on as everything seemed to be running out of power.
but you dont have that much more room to fill with waste products so i may just scram them and let everything power down
