The R2s on the ghiza's wheel have a few extra small hits at the end of them, but the two handed moveset's R2s move the weapon behind you so they don't actually do anything
Notably those extra hits trigger winged sword insignia/thorny cracked tear

you unlock new levels based on how many perks you fully unlock not based on unlocking the ones in the next teir
for example the first level each perk only requires 2 p-crystals for 2 its 3
you can unlock all the perks in teir 1 and you would have access ot teir 3 perks despeite not having any teir 2 perks

but each handle does seem to have a what icall optimital weight
at that weight they act the most normal
puting a lighter blade makes them go wierdly unaturally fast

i figured out hwy lies of P combat feels so much better than Dark souls/elden ring ocmbat to me
it's the enemie's tracking
enemies on dark souls have incredibly and often ridiclous tracking that lets them just spin in place to hit you
but in Lies of P you can actually side step attacks - they have soem tracking, but once they're commited, you can literally get right behind them
