Rune arcs can be found in teh world, dropped by rats at a very low chance, gained from invading other people, gained from rescuing players from invaders as a blue, or gained from helping defeat the area boss as a summon

Honestly popping a rune arc can make any boss fight a win, its a strong tool and its a great reward for getting those divine towers

i have too many to justify sitting on but too few to actually use

i think a better system would have been
each greatrune has a passive and active effect
like godrick's rune is +2 to all stats
but goes up to 5 when active with a rune arc
or even just +1

i maintain that fromsoft games are best when they ditch more of their rpg conventions
like buildcrafting in armored core is more nuanced and satisfying than in elden ring imo, and it has 0 opportunity cost compared to elden ring

I'm doing some Elden Ring Streaming if folks are keen to watch - Doing a vagabond start, with a chill Optimizer's look at getitng the most out of the early game

...so has Elden Ring (on PC) gotten more unstable for anybody else since the DLC dropped? i swear i've gotten more CtDs in the last two weeks than i did in the several months leading up to it

is to use hte summons yo ufind inside the area
