Goblins are generally more independent than grots. You get more examples of them doing their own thing.

Plus they're more likely to backstab orks that kick them one too many times.

to a lesser extent git as well but it can also be a pejorative toward an ork, as in flash gitz

in aos there's also saddlegit or gnoblar, for grots that live in maw tribes

another one is snotling for the smallest grots

but grot and gretchin especially is interchangable imo. gretchin units and mek guns and killa kans and grot tanks are all the same tiny green guys

But also it's very silly when you have a gritty setting where every drug and cuss has been replaced by a goofy pretend techno-drug or nonsense word so the authors don't get in trouble with their parents

And it's also funny where they just aren't even a little bit hiding what they're doing, like how the BSG reboot took "frak" from a nonsense epithet in the 70s version to just a blatant find and replace for "fuck"
