The Ralakesh's Impatience Unique Boots now have one of either: Count as having maximum number of Endurance Charges, Count as having maximum number of Frenzy Charges, or Count as having maximum number of Power Charges. They now also have 15-25% increased Movement Speed, and Immune to Corrupted Blood.
Weapons and Armour with multiple Attribute Requirements now have a lower chance to roll Attribute modifiers.
Life and Mana Leech Modifiers on Equipment Items and Jewels now roll as Suffixes instead of Prefixes. This does not affect items with existing Prefix Leech Modifiers.
Sceptres, Staves, Rune Daggers and Wands now roll Attack Modifiers less often (Warstaves and Attack Daggers are unaffected by this change).
Resistance Modifiers can no longer roll or be crafted on Weapons.

and then you have rain of arrows manaforged arrows lifetap that procs every attack to apply the fever stacks
and then you put reap+exsang in a double 3link in asenath's mark to trigger those as well
but there are basically no good affixes on bow and quiver
Minion damage% and then you pick up the "minion damage applies to you" notable top left of the tree

There's been a couple additions to the POE patch notes in the past 2 days including tons of buffed uniques (1000% facebreakers are back) and new Witch nodes on the tree, it's in the collapsable "updates" parts of the notes
from my understanding Cold DoT Ele stonks are WAY up
the nodes for dot are just general spell dot stonks super up
there was almost no good dot multiplier for chaos dots on tree last legue

I'm sure you can "fix" channelling on a pure numbers buff to what already exists, but it'd be a real kludge versus actually addressing the issues
Like a neat mechanical thing is that instant skills (blinks) don't interrupt channelling, so you can reposition by Frostblinking around etc
But the cool down on blinks fucks you
So how about channelling support on the tree with a mastery and/or support that gives increasing CDR on travel skills for every second youve channeled

i have finally figured out an excuse to play absurd amounts of blight in SSF
i'm gonna try to mythic orb a bricked 4x anoint stranglegrasp
so this means i need to obtain on average four stranglegrasps and also get enough oils to anoint each of them in order to actually hit the brick

I'm still pretty squishy and I need better gear. I've picked up every Armor + Evasion node on the tree so its only via gear that I can get tougher
But I'm rocking SSF MF gear that raises me to about 100% rather than actual good kit so I think I have room to grow, and this build is real if not meta

That's a pretty reasonable situation - the upcoming 1.2.1.6 patch on playtest should jazz up itemization enough that a lot of lower performers get their time on the sun and that should be enough to really explore the existing content before FoA drops next year. It's been an interesting time just going back into the character roster and getting everybody up to spec to run Shattered Realm shard 32-34.

Flicker Strike of Power Cast on Crit Blade Blast of Dagger Detonation Assassin
This kinda lingo is why showing Path of Exile reddit or other writing to folks that don't play is always a hoot
Flicker strike always owns
Capping attack crit is trivially easy with alt-flicker - it gives an extra 50% crit chance per power charge for a total of 100% inc crit per charge
Daggers have a good base crit and attack speed so you don't need to lean too hard into the attack side of things
Dagger Blast then scales nicely with your good dagger and doesn't have an additional trigger cool down
sword+mark mastery with quality on flicker and multistrike is basically it
Swapped to a penance brand of dissipation elementalist. The soul eater tech with the Coiling Whisper ring is insane, easy 250% cast speed is pretty fun
on top of all the golems, and i'm getting a ton of free stats for very little
going to try to get Doryani's prototype setup tomorrow on my merc, it should bring my dps from 3.5m to 20m-ish with very few other changes

fu quirk of my loot filter - it puts more emphasis on a single maraketh splinter dropping than a whole emblem
So, been able to potter around a bit with Starcaller a bit more - gotten some nice optimisations for it and going a bit off piste compared to the typical ninja build
It's not stunningly good at bossing but it feels very smooth for mapping, and I think it could easily be a cheap build in future leagues assuming Starcaller isn't too expensive

i have liked it in general but there are certain aps breakpoints you have to hit to do some content which can be very frustrating because chilled ground or something applying an attack speed slow can effectively stun you
I don't think every mace skill needs to - attackspeed /increase attack time on already slow weapons to feel chunky

We could do the Heartseeker runback, but we also want to do Black Blade which is complicated by the fact we're SSF so doing a Black Blade build means killing abby

The Arbiter of Ash Boss fight is now a static difficulty encounter with infinite portals (previously only infinite portals at difficulty 0). The rewards of this fight now match the previous difficulty 4 rewards.
The Hooded One can no longer be placed in your Hideout. You are still able to identify items from him in towns. Doryani will continue to serve as the source of identifying items in your Hideout once you've completed the campaign.
He aint surviving act 6.

Fire Damage no longer inherently has a chance to Ignite. Instead it inflicts Flammability on the enemy based on the damage dealt. Flammability is a debuff that lasts for 4 seconds and grants all Fire Damage against the enemy (including the hit that applied Flammability) a chance to Ignite that enemy equal to their Flammability magnitude.
Tactican got some nice changes
Added a new Strategic Embankments Notable Passive Skill, which requires Cannons, Ready! This causes your Totems to grant Embankment Auras to players when placed, which grant a different effect depending on the variety of totem:
Ancestral Warrior Totem grants 40% increased Glory Generation.
Artillery Ballista grants 40% increased Immobilisation Buildup.
Dark Effigy grants 40% increased Damage over Time.
Mortar Cannon grants 15% of Damage Gained as extra Fire.
Siege Ballista grants 50% increased Damage against Immobilised Enemies.
Shockwave Totem grants 30% increased Area of Effect.
Rapid Shot: No longer has a delay before firing bolts, or 50% less reload speed. It now has 100 Maximum Ammunition at all Gem levels (previously 50-87) and 30-45 Maximum Heat at Gem levels 5-20 (previously 17-24). It now deals 37-94% of Attack Damage at Gem levels 5-20 (previously 21-47%). Quality now grants +0-15 Maximum Heat (previously +0-5). Heat no longer grants Rapid Shot Damage gained as Fire. Instead, reaching Maximum Heat prevents you from using the skill for 10 seconds. It now generates Heat once per attack instead of once per 0.25 seconds. Heat now begins decaying after 4 seconds without gaining Heat, at a rate of 10 Heat per second. Heat no longer grants grenade skills damage gained as fire. Instead, Explosive Grenade and Cluster Grenade consume 15 Heat to gain 50% of damage as fire damage, while Incendiary Shot consumes 30 Heat to gain 50% more ignite magnitude.

so it's a skill where you manage your heat as the minigame, with heat empowring 2 types of grenades and incin shot
Incendiary Shot: Now has Ignites you Inflict with this Skill are 200% faster, and also now has 30% increased Ignite Duration for each Pellet that hits a Target. Now inflicts 300% more Flammability (previously 100%). Quality now provides 0-15% increased Ignite Duration for each Fragment that hits a Target, instead of 0-20% increased Ignite Magnitude.
And incin shot got big buffs.
That's gonna be very satisfying to quick load incin shots and go "hey, you, BOOM"
"Cluster Grenade: Primary Grenade Attack Damage is now 299-490% at Gem levels 13-20 (previously 199-327%). Mini Grenade Attack Damage is now 174-286% (from 137-225%). Now Fires exactly 18 Mini Grenades in a nova (previously 14), and Mini grenades are fired over a ~17% increased radius."

it is a little brutal going from the beautiful aesthetics and weighty attacks of poe2 to LE which feels very floaty and tacky in comparison. but the qol and crafting and build craft in le is way better than poe2 atm
High Velocity Rounds: No longer consumes Fully Broken Armour. Instead, hitting a Fully Armour Broken enemy will apply a Debuff to that enemy which causes your attack hits against that enemy to deal additional Physical damage equal to 5% of the Physical damage dealt by the High Velocity Round that applied the Debuff.
Unless it keeps the huge extra damage on hit my wacky poison build is cooked, RIP

I don't enjoy crit builds because I SSF and don't play enough to obtain the gear you need to get it to feel good

And there's a new notable in the war/Merc part of the tree that makes armor break apply to fire damage

I'd rather have an interesting chaos projectile skill than turn Chaos Bolt into a skill because it's a really generic, boring single hit projectile

My concern is that they're sticking more interesting skills like the new reap etc there.
I dunno, honestly, implicit skills that aren't like unique linked and properly fancy just make my brain itchy
that Reap is pretty uninteresting/basic mechanically compared to poe1 Reap, and ultimately there's no reason we can't get a more interesting skill gem version of it (in the same way that Firebolt exists as an implicit vs Fireball)

Everyone and their mother has been telling me to hop on the Path of Exile 2 hype train, but I'm a little gunshy about early access titles. I'm happy to hear the devs are doing a free trial run next weekend.
But even if that doesn't pan out for me, I'll probably pick up the ARPG-flavored rogue-like Hell Clock. I loved what I played of HC's demo.

I've been using flay for clear and harvest for bossing with bone curse, reaper form, and aura of decay as support
doing full phys conversion stuff and low life with the ward generation. I have endurance threshold almost at my capped 1/2 hp total so just trying to bring the %ge up to max rn
very weird defense layers. I think if I stop hitting mobs I will die to dots very quickly
having 2 health bars is nice for that though

Can I use my Merchant's Tabs in Path of Exile 1?
The asynchronous trade system won't be immediately available in Path of Exile 1, so you won't be able to use your Merchant's Tabs there when Path of Exile 2: The Third Edict Launches. When this system is added to Path of Exile 1, any Merchant's Tabs you have purchased will also be available to use there.

The Weapon Master Notable Passive Skill now grants 100 Passive Skill Points become Weapon Set Skill Points (previously 20). The preceding small Passive now grants 6% increased Cooldown Recovery Rate instead of Weapon Set Skill Points.
Witch hunter: All your skill points are weapon swap skill points.
Thats an interesting change, it'll probably be more worthwhile once swords and axes are implemented but i wonder what people will come up with
