I think part of it may be limitation of Inkarnate where a river can't be easily drawn on top of mountain token

water, as you might expect, flows downhill, and if given multiple routes, will take the path of least resistance (you CAN have a river split, but its rare and geographically temporary)

anyway, specific to this map:

there is a river netwrok in the Grand Republic of Visimar that looks like it flows through a mountain range into the greatwyrm hollow, in addition to flowing into the sea past Troll Country. .... but that might just be me reading the map wrong

however, the waterways in Feros are definitely wrong - you can't get a river flowing from one coast to another, because both coasts are at the same elevation

meanwhile on the other map, FALKENHEIM has two coast-to-coast rivers

the rivers are the only criticism I have

I think one thing that you have grasped well on all the maps so far is getting lots of visual clutter, it's something I try to do. Flat floors and areas to me look boring as shit. When I have flat areas I try to clutter them as much as possible. In Calliope that's easy with access to cables on the floor, graffiti, dirt, grime and litter. It gets a tad harder with properly well furbished battlegrounds.

The regional maps do this very well. Spamming mountains, words, and hundreds of trees give a clutter that makes the map look DENSE!

You've done the same thing with the dungeons being littered with debris and I think it really works there

And with the dungeon floors themselves they could do with a tad smattering of various textures. Natural textures are easier to go over and over and over again and again with low opacity brushes to build up texture and break up monotony which the insides of the caves can be used

Making maps messy makes it densely populated

With maps, at the end of the day it exists to establish a vibe of where you are fighting, and to convey tactical information such as cover

Simple colours can work, if you use a good palette and a nice background it can look pretty too. In Lancer readability is more important than beauty

You put it in front of your friends so that the random boxes of terrain aren't just squares and hexes, but they're crates, cars and buildings

Then after 3-5 hours of session. That map goes... Hides away in a folder to not be fought on again, your players will either remark it as a map or as a beautiful art piece, either of which is a success.

she is able to cast spells and even create matter out of thin air by sketching it out with her paintbrush in reality. but the magic is in her soul. this is just the way she learnt to use that power, mostly due to being actually a painter ahaha. but im writing a bit of her backstory now :>
