I arrive at the scene as the last member of the work detail flies into a vent with a surprised yelp, their feet lifting off in a way that suggests they're being pulled in.  I rush, grab their feet under each arm, and pull hard, getting my foot up on the edge of the vent to brace. Inside I can see a huge ventcrab gripping their backpack and refusing to let go. I can't get at it without dropping the worker, but I manage to get my hand to my knife while still holding them and get it up enough for the person in the middle of the tug of war to grab it. They cut the straps of the pack and break free, and we collapse back in the maintenance hall. They tell me two others were already grabbed. 

I wake up with gritted teeth, about to decide to go in after them.

One thing to know there is that ||the cult influence clock is bounded by the number of open station stability clock ticks. So what I did is I made the empty ticks of each transparent, made the cult influence grow from the opposite end, and then stacked them on top of each other with station stability on top||

Smoke grenades are very good. Retractable profile is strong if you're a pacifist otherwise crack shot and the lmgs are good

Evasion and speed for swallowtail are p good. It has base +1 to tech attack and good edef (rangertails is lower) so sys investment isn't too needed. Swallowtail variants should just prioritise eng and hull
