seeing that we are slowly getting closer to license 1, i am set into getting an amber phantom, the signature mech of reverie afterall. and i was thinking how it should look before i draw it. i thought, knowing the mech is kinda vulnerable, and is moreso about evasion and being invisible... what if her amber phantom's exterior is ||made of weird, black prisms, that in some positions they can make the mech look made of rgb rainbows, and in another, they reflect light perfectly (so then becoming invisible)? i think thats very SSC coded.||

another idea i have is, ||reverie doesnt print this mech, as she is kinda in a no-communication with SSC. rather, her previous amber phantom (or, the compcon inside it) looks for her to protect her, but the moment they meet the compcon shows it rather has a sassy attitude, scolding reverie for leaving without it XD the compcon then gives reverie the license giving no fucks to the drama.||

I remember in wallflower ||during mission 4b I had the machine attack hivehome when the party weren't near their mechs. Half the party split to do parkour and shit and get their mechs. The other defended a defendable position, then I had like a horde of subalterns and essentially a grunt assault turn up. mFer would have done like 4 stress on a failed risky roll. And had like a clock of 6 segments to represent its state.

My player decided to use absolute meat, rolled a NAT 20 so I just said they one shotted it with a plasma axe||

Time: increases by 1 whenever players do anything (or after all players do 1 thing)

Basic success: 1 for failure, 2 for success, 3 for crit

Basic failure: 2 for failure, 1 for success, 0 for crit

Then you can swap it up

"you failed, how do you mess up? Do you take a lot of harm (4 stress) or take longer (-1 on time remaining)"

So my other fave that I remember narrative combat still happend withinn mechs in OWS

||Basically, we were aboard a space ship on a sabotage mission. And we had to fuck shit up. After the 2nd combat of the mission the GM had a narrative/not combat rule scenne where we were on a monorail goingg throughout the middle of the ship and had to fight off boarders||

||After a while the GM realised she wasn't really ggiving consequences out so decided to just stop making us roll and said started saying "you do so"||

Which is incredibly fucking based

This scene led to me doing a PAAC:

Cost: Use Core power + Shoot Linac beam exotic + Start combat on max heat + Break both my missile pods from firing so much
