A vet NPC and grunt NPC both do the same job. However, the grunt is a simple action to remove. Tech attack or AR skirmish. However, the difference is the grunt can be deleted super quick, as the vet has longer time to be alive so you need to think how to stall it, control it, or remove it depending if it has taken a turn or not.
