I can post all their dirty (character) laundry whenever I want!

So one of my players is (character spoilers for Act 2) ||a double-agent for Impact Dynamics. Used to be a "creative accountant" alongside Frod until she got too good at her job and was caught stealing from ID's cookie jar. Captured, beaten, turned into a cyborg via invasive surgery, implanted with a subjectivity override and personally overseen by Diamond Kirk herself, yadda yadda.||

Now working with the SRT ||and using her own implants to spy on them and collect information about the other players and their mechs to do some corporate espionage using a cover story about her supposedly "sick" "little" sister. Turns out, she Goes Diving post Mission 1 and gets taken care of by Mikalea.omdf, who then writes on the inside of her fake faceplate "I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE."||

The player, rightfully freaked out about this, attempts to ask ||Mikaela what the hell she means by this, only for her to be out of the house and only leaving a note behind to go to the SSC store on the Icebreaker since she's already going out that way.||

This was mostly a ploy for me to figure out what the hell to do since I hadn't prepped that far in advance.

During the next downtime before we started Chapter 3 ||two other players, both also playing lesbians, with one a lot more disastrous than the other, decide to do another "Girls Night" and invite the first player since she was busy with failing to sneak into Irvin Reid's office while the other two were having a threesome with Claryana Rowdley.||

Rather than participate, the player decides to go find ||Mikaela, and I decide to cut to that segment later because I had an inkling of an idea. The disaster lesbian goes to get laid and the other decides to stick around and drink with one of the two token straight PCs while the other was out sick irl.||

I rolled on a table to see which woman on Hell's Gate would be the one ||the disaster lesbian gets laid with, and I managed to roll Mikaela. So! Cue awkward conversation of the double-agent knocking on Mikaela's door, waiting around for a bit, and discovering her party member getting dressed behind Mikaela as she is invited in to talk about what she meant by that whole "I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE" business.||

channeled so much evil commander energy that she scared the hoes, including calamity of all people. she is having NONE of it anymore

|| * talked to calamity and was very cute, mentioned that pirates are now on the station and accidently mentioned jean was there, calamity got really mad and punched a hole in the metal wall, asked politely for serenity to leave and she was terrified

• ending up crying to elizabeth awkwardly about how she felt guilty for almost pulling the life support. (comfort bond power)
• she admitted that she just wanted calamity to be happy and safe, but also that she felt immensely guilty and wanted to tell calamity somehow but was too afraid. not for being physically destroyed, that'd be hot, but breaking her trust elizabeth offered to help serenity talk to calamity about it, mostly to be a support for serenity being a baby,
• we found jean hiding in a fucking closet after he should have left the station. elizabeth held him at gunpoint. over time he revealed that he was responsible for calamity being nearly killed and serenity snapped, she went full evil aura commander mode; she was being professional but calm before this information, but he said it she leaned down in front of him while he was pinned on the counter and said "are you the motherfucker who almost got her killed?" he said "aaaw looks like calamity has a girlfriend"
• everyone was debating what to do with him and serenity practically dragged him to the hangar; she used the sun bond power and critted on intimidation to the point that no one wanted to approach her; calamity went from wanting to smash his head in to not wanting to get close to serenity. every time jean would try to make a quippy remark serenity interrupted him like a commanding office with a subordinate. even jerry was too scared to get close to serenity; she wasn't listening to a single thing he said and made all of the decisions without his judgement,
• calamity was both terrified and impressed. "i didn't know you had it in you, girlie" and with elizabeth being the great wingman she jumped in and said "well, that's our captain for you, right?" serenity responded "of course. someone has to keep them in check" ||

Best dye I've found lasts maybe 3 weeks before fading over another 2 weeks or so, and that's using color safe shampoo and such. but yeah. "permanent" hair dye isn't. Re-dying isn't a huge pain, but if you have dark hair like me then you have to rebleach your roots periodically and that's a pain.

In lancer though I bet they have great instant hair color options

The Neo-Teutonic Union is a democratic republic located on Twilight's Pearl, a planet about the size of Venus covered in mountains and seasonal fogs within the Annamite Line/Ring 11 (Diaspora). Lovely people, if you can withstand the culture shock of how blunt and straight forward people from there are. Also, the language spoken there is complicated enough that the universal translator can, at best give you the literal translation of what's being said, which, more often than not, is not very helpful. Example: "Ich hab Kohldampf". Literal translation: "I have coal steam". Meaning: "I'm very hungry."

Due to a series of misfortunes which destabilized the government, it's currently in a Civil War with Neo-Teutonic Armed Forces attempting to restore law and order against New Dawn, an anthrochauvinist terrorist organization which is trying to overthrow the government.

Aurich Industries, a subsidiary of GMS, is providing the system with most of its tech. Aurich Industries' philosophy of design is "build to last", meaning they mainly focus on practicality and endurance. Mechs like the H1N "Richter", an Everest variant with a low profile, rounded hull, and series of redundant systems and manual fallbacks, forms the backbone of NTAF mechanized elements. The tech may look clunky and outdated, but it's just as viable as any other machine on the market

Although not the state religion, the Neo-Teutonic Union nevertheless is the birthplace of a new religious movement called "Rhinic Dualism". It emphasizes the importance of maintaining balance with your environment and sets the focus of life on the present, rather than the divine or some event in the future. It gave rise to a saying nowadays closely associated with the attitude of people from the NTU: "Kein Schnee mehr von gestern, kein Regen von morgen. Was zählt ist die Sonne von heute!" The meaning of that phrase is as follows: "Don't worry about the has-been or what is yet to come. Live in the now for that's the moment we all experience."

CH3 spoilers: ||As a bit of backstory, Pear in my game came to Calliope as a bounty hunter with his partner, codenamed Peach. Their target was Shane, and while chasing him through the Icebreaker, Shane killed Peach. Pear lost the trail and gave up on everything for a while, ending up on Hell's Gate. In CH3, the blacksmith showed the team a picture of The Thief, and pear knew it was the same man. When my team took down the Theif, Pear was shaking over him. Calamity took the gun away and said she'll "take care of it."||

||Oh, also, while I normally plan my scenes out witha lot of help from my players... I gave Pear's player NOTHING in terms of heads up for this. It was intense and he did a fantastic job locking the fuck in for the RP||

With a sign, Fritz was patched in by Legacy. He appeared on the monitor with the flag of the Von Lindner Freikorps, his old unit that fell trying to secure the Interloper, the very machine Legacy, the survivors of that unit, is now using to breach the cult's network, flying proudly behind him. He's staring directly at the viewer with a feeling of wrath washing over him. Then, Fritz begins to speak, letting the words echo out throughout the whole world:

Translation:
